One of my dearest friends married her love this autumn and it was the most beautiful day.
Lauren and Klem’s fall wedding had been planned originally for early September, later postponed until the summer of 2021, but eventually they decided to move forward with a later date in September 2020. It’s easy to write out their changed plans, but as every 2020 couple knows 2020 has not been the wedding year so many couples had anticipated and has been a rollercoaster of emotions. With their new plan, and less than a month and half to pull their wedding together, these two along with their families started to re-plan a beautiful 100 person wedding in the backyard of Lauren’s parents.
All seemed well, until a week before their wedding, the government limited wedding restrictions and gatherings to 25 people outdoors. Again, these two had to adapt and readjust their vision for their wedding. With a tough decision of who to ‘cut’ due to the new restrictions, Lauren and Klem decided to move forward with a very intimate backyard wedding and make the best of their day. You’ll see for yourself in the images below, but both these two radiated joy throughout the entire wedding day. Their reveal and ceremony were filled with joyous tears and giggles from a long-awaited journey to get to their big day.
2020 has been nothing like what any of us expected, but I’ve seen LOVE WIN no matter what’s happened this year. I’ve watched as couples grew stronger in the process of planning their wedding, and ultimately it’s reminded them that while all the wedding details are important and nice to have, the most important part of the wedding is your spouse.

This was our last wedding of 2020, and I want to say a HUGE congratulations to every one of our couples who fought for love to win in this wild year! Especially, my dear friends, Lauren and Klem, congratulations guys! I’m so happy for you both as you start this married life!
