Together with their friends and family, Lacey and Cameron tied the knot at the gorgeous Northbrook Farm in Orillia (which forever holds a special place in my heart, as it was our wedding venue too). Lacey and Cameron flew in from beautiful, British Columbia, to have their wedding back in Simcoe County so that all of their friends and family could attend. Planning a wedding from a far is no easy-task, but with the help of our mutual friend and incredible Wedding Coordinator, Sonia, the day was absolutely everything Lacey and Cameron had dreamed of.
I knew from our initial consult call that Lacey was the kind of bride who cared about the details, and even more so about people. Lacey found the sweetest ways to include her guests, and ways to honour people in the most thoughtful ways. For instance, as she comes from a family of all girls, and Cam comes from a family of all boys, Lacey had planned a special dance for the “mother of the bride” and the “father of the groom” to dance with the bride and groom, as they wouldn’t have the opportunity for a “first dance” any other way. It was such a thoughtful way for her to honour their parents.
I cannot express how honoured I am to have documented this soul-filled wedding celebration.
