An adventurous, proposal at the top of Blue Mountain, where Ben popped the question to his girl friend, Markaysa.

A few weeks prior to the exciting day, Markaysa’s sister reached out to us to capture her sister’s proposal at Blue Mountain. She wanted a photographer that the couple didn’t know to limit any suspicion during their hike. We chatted with Ben a few days leading up to the day, and he shared his plan of taking her on a morning hike to a specific spot at the top of blue that meant a lot to the two of them. He had planned to “book a time slot” with Blue Mountain for their hike, and take her to their spot where he’d go down on one knee. We dresses casually, and pretended to be photographing birds, trees, flowers, anything that would make us look busy as we casually trailed behind these two.

As Ben went down on one knee, we rushed in photographing them! Markaysa had NO idea and was totally surprised (WAY TO GO BEN). We then introduced ourselves, led them on a hike on a private trail, and photographed some more portraits of the excited couple!
