Cassidy + Luke

Once a year, usually around the Holiday season, I do a giveaway for a full photo session. This year the prize was for a 1 hour engagement session, and the winners were (plot twist) not Cassidy or Luke! One of Cassidy’s sisters, Taylor, who happens to also be engaged (actually all three sisters are engaged and getting married this year — wild right?), won this session. Taylor had messaged me to see if she could gift her winnings to her sister, Cassidy, as Taylor and her fiance had already had engagement photos done. Seriously, my heart, it was such a sweet gesture and of course I said yes!

Anyway, fast forward to their session in Collingwood…

Winter can always be a risky time for photos, but especially during February. We can either have 3 feet of snow or -20 degree weather (which trust me, is never fun), and we had the latter during days leading up to the session. Thankfully, we scored some -2 mild winter weather, and were able to get some gorgeous snowy shots, without any of us losing fingers and toes. Both Terry and I were on scene for the session, and we definitely enjoyed our time with these two. We laughed a lot, especially as some locals walking by, made comments about us having to be from Toronto (it may have been when I told Cassidy + Luke to kiss in an alleyway, I guess that’s what city people do?). All in all, we had a great time!
