Is there anything better than autumn in the country? The answer is no, this rustic farm engagement session highlighted everything that I love about autumn: colourful leaves, wide-open fields, sunflowers, and pumpkins, and the best part: love.

Meet Mel & Jon, two very down to earth and fun people to be around. Mel’s sister Ali, emailed me late on a Saturday night asking if I’d have any last minute availability in the next week to squeeze an engagement session in for her sister and her fiancé as they wanted their engagement photos done at Jon’s family’s farm before the leaves completely fell and the foliage turned brown. Luckily, we could make all our schedules work and the forecasted rain held off until the very last photo (lucky us).

I cannot wait for their northern wedding coming up this June – believing for amazing weather and wide open social zones in Ontario.
