I recieved a call on my way to another shoot in the city from this dear friend looking if I could capture a last-minute photo session before her man heads off to training for the army. The orginial plans had fell through and they were short on time and wanted photos before he leaves (heart sigh.. so sweet). The only problem, I wouldn’t make it back to Barrie before the the sun disappears, but if there’s a will there’s always a way.

I can’t say I’ve ever shot an entire session in the dark, but after this, I just might. As creatives we need sessions that spark something fresh in our work.. this was just that. Although it’s a little different than my usual light and airy kind of style, I hope you enjoy this blog all the same.
