If you have had the privilege to meet Alexia, you know she truly is a little ray of sunshine. She’s also become a dear friend, my fabulous hair dresser, and has some of the most unbelievably, ridiculously-hilarious stories that sound like their straight out of a comedy. While her life has been filled with adventure and hilarious moments, her past holds deep pain and tragedy, but her future has been filled with hope, miracles, and the grace of God. Her faithfulness to listening to the Lord’s voice in her life as well as her obedience has led her to this moment.

Alexia had reached out to me about a project she was working on and how she needed to book a session for some updated headshots for it. We had a date in mind as the weather warmer would be approaching, but due to a speed-up change in her deadline, we had to reschedule to early May! We captured some headshots and some sweet family photos (her girls are seriously too cute).

With her releasing the news, it is now with great excitement that I’m sharing the big news and their photos! Alexia has just published her book “Little Ray of Sunshine”, which is her life story of overcoming sexual abuse and finding freedom in Christ! It’s available for pre-sale here, and will be available September 17, 2020. I know every story is different, but this book is one filled with hope and actionable steps of how she overcame her trauma.
